2004年畢業于清華大學化學系,獲學士學位。2009年獲清華大學化學系博士學位(導師:童愛軍教授)。2009-2012于美國伊利諾伊大學香檳分校從事博士后研究(合作導師:Yi Lu教授),2012年起任清華大學化學系副教授。研究方向為基于核酸硫化學開發分析化學與化學生物學研究工具,包括:(1)基于硫化學的核酸合成后修飾方法;(2)化學修飾脫氧核酶用于刺激響應的生物傳感和基因調控;(3)化學修飾向導RNA用于刺激響應的CRISPR/Cas基因編輯。現擔任Sensors期刊編委會成員。


Dr. Yu Xiang got his B.S. in Chemistry (2004) from Tsinghua University, China, and Ph.D. in Chemistry (2009) under Prof. Aijun Tong in Tsinghua University. After the postdoctoral research (2009-2012) with Prof. Yi Lu at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Xiang has worked as an associate professor in Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University since 2012. He is currently working on the sulfur chemistry for modified nucleic acids as tools in chemical biology, including (1) Sulfur chemistry for post-synthetic nucleic acid modification; (2) Chemically modified DNAzyme for stimuli-responsive biosensing and gene regulation; (3) Chemically modified guide RNA for stimuli-responsive gene editing mediated by CRISPR/Cas. He serves on the editorial board of the journal Sensors.
